Everton's Romelu Lukaku future
has been thrown into further doubt after the striker admitted he wants
to take the “next step” in his career and compete in the Champions
League next season.
Lukaku has been in prolific form since
joining Everton from Chelsea, scoring 61 goals in 109 starts over the
past three campaigns, and has attracted interest from the likes of PSG,
Manchester United and Real Madrid.

And with the Toffees languishing 12th
in the Premier League, the Belgium international has revealed he may be
forced to move on in the summer.
“That is the next step for me. I’m 23 next summer and I think it would be nice to play in the Champions League from next season,” he told Sky Sports.
Lukaku has been urged by his father to leave Goodison Park and join either Manchester United or Bayern Munich, whom he has also been linked with.
“That is my dad’s point of view; I think those are the teams he likes,” he said. “It means people are keeping an eye on you.
“I have an agent who is dealing with this for me at the moment. I just want to be good, help my teammates win games and score lots of goals.”
