Lady Gaga turned her body into her own personal artwork as she put her intricate tattoo collection on display
in a backless dress as she attended the Oscar luncheon on Monday.
Having covered up her inkings with thick camouflage make-up
for the Golden Globes, on this occasion the singer decided to put them on show.
From the front Gaga's blush full length gown featured a
demure high neckline.
But a cut out at the back showed the 29-year-old's extensive
tattoo collection, with a large claw in tribute to her fans, who she
affectionately calls Little Monsters.
Gaga also has tattoos on both her upper arms.
The 29-year-old has been nominated for an Oscar in the best
original song category for Til It Happens To You, a collaboration with Diane
Warren that appeared in The Hunting Ground.
The in demand star attended the event a day after her
winning performance of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl in San Jose.

Gaga has a packed schedule this awards season - she will
make history this month as the only artist to perform at the Oscars, Grammys
& Super Bowl in One Year.
The Grammys next week will see her pay tribute to the late
David Bowie, with critics expecting her to perform three or four of his songs.
