Police fined a pensioner after driving a car that was almost completely covered in snow.
The 80-year-old man was stopped in Brussels, Ontario, on Tuesday
after officers from Ontario Provincial Police noticed his vehicle only
had a tiny portion of the windscreen cleared.
The man, whose name was not released, was charged with having an obstructed view and was given a $110 [£54] ticket.
The police force posted a picture of the car on Twitter, adding
“Can’t make this stuff up. Driver charged today in Brussels actually
driving like this.”
Police spokesman James Stanley said: “He was going for a short drive
in town. I understand his excuse was he was too old, too weak to brush
off the snow.”

An officer helped the elderly man clear the snow from his car before he was allowed to continue with his journey.
