Celebrity power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West could
be moving to the South West, after enjoying a taste of English country life
last year.
It's claimed Kanye, 38, and Kim, 35, are in the process of
buying a plot in the English countryside,
worth half a million pound, on which
he plans to build a home fit for celebrity royalty.
It was reported in November that they're to sell their $20
million custom-made Los Angeles mansion despite the fact they've never even
lived in it.
And now it's thought Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are keen
to get a foot on the property ladder in the UK.
The parents-of-two have their sights set on an aristocratic
lifestyle, according to a report by the Daily Mirror.
A source told the newspaper: 'While he will always have a
home in LA - where Kim's expansive family are based - he likes the idea of
having a manor across the pond.'
Having spent some time in rural Britain last year -
specifically, visiting Oxford University in spring and famously headlining
Glastonbury Festival in Somerset in the summer - it's believed the Watch The
Throne hit-maker was able to check a few potential areas.

As well as a countryside retreat, Kanye is apparently keen
to have him and Kim and their two children - two-year-old daughter North and
newborn baby boy Saint - captured in a Medieval-style portrait.
'The portrait is all part of his upper-class image. It will
probably hang in their home in LA to begin with until the English country home
is ready,' the source added.
