Johnny Depp has thanked Amber Heard for "putting up" with him.
The 'Black Mass' star had some sweet words for his wife as he
accepted the Desert Palm
Achievement Award at the Palm Springs
International Film Festival last night (02.01.16).
He said: "I also have to thank my wife Amber for putting up
with me, for living with all these characters, which can't be easy. It's
hard for me - it's got to be hard for her."
Meanwhile, the 52-year-old actor previously admitted he feels so "lucky" to connect with Amber on "a lot of levels".
He explained: "We connect on a lot of levels but the first
thing that really got me was she's an aficionado of the blues. I would
play a song, some old obscure blues song and she knew what it was.
"She's very, very literate. She's a voracious reader, as I have been, so
we connected on that as well. And she's kind of brilliant. I'm a lucky
man."
And Amber is equally happy with the Hollywood hunk, admitting having
stepchildren - Johnny's daughter Lily-Rose and son Jack - is the
"greatest, most surprising gift" ever.

She shared: "It's an honour and the greatest, most surprising gift I have ever received in my life ...
"I feel new flavours that I didn't know existed. New colours that I
didn't know existed have been added to my life. I'm so happy."
