Rihanna, 27 will take a huge step come February,
showing her new collection with Puma at New York Fashion Week. Though she didn't explicitly tell fans about the showcase,
she did tweet a link to
an auction page that listed front-row tickets to "Puma
by Rihanna at NYFW Show, 2016" as one of the prizes.
The description for the prize reads, "For a chance to
see one of Rihanna's many creative collaborations up-close, you and one guest
will be flown business class to New York for two nights to experience the
premier Puma by Rihanna AW16 fashion show, is February 12, 2016 from 8pm-9pm
EST."
The starting bid for the tickets is currently at a whopping
$15K and all earnings will go toward the mission for Rih's Clara Lionel
Foundation, which she started in memory of her grandparents.
"With each dollar raised, we can continue our mission
to improve communities globally through health, education, arts and
culture," the singer writes on the auction website. "I am so grateful
to my friends who have donated items and Paddle8 for joining our journey."
Meanwhile, Rihanna was named Creative Director of Puma in
December 2014. The songstress has presided over the brand's women's training
line in what is described as a "multi-year partnership."

As for a specific motive behind Puma enlisting Rihanna: With
a global pop star at the helm, the brand has the potential to gain a wider
global audience and make competition more stiff with rivals Adidas and Nike.
"Signing Rihanna is a fantastic step for Puma,"
Puma's chief executive officer Bjørn Gulden told Women's Wear Daily at the time
of the announcement. "Her global profile, her charisma and individuality,
her ambition—all these things make her a perfect ambassador for our
brand."
We can't wait to see what she brings for NYFW!
