Nigeria U23 Champions Expected in the Country on Monday

Nigeria’s Dream Team VI clinched the 2015 U23 AFCON title Saturday night after they defeated Algeria 2-1 in the final.
In the meantime, the team’s three foreign-based professionals – skipper Azubuike Okechukwu
(Turkey), Junior Ajayi (Tunisia) and Taiwo Awoniyi (Germany) – already returned to their bases immediately Saturday’s final.
The country as well as Algeria and South Africa will now represent Africa at next year’s Rio Olympics.
Nigeria’s victorious team to this year’s U23 AFCON in Senegal are due to fly into the country on Monday morning, officials have announced.
