Gunmen believed to be members of the Boko Haram insurgents have
attacked Kamuya village, which is located along the border between Borno
and Yobe states, killing 7 civilians and abducting others.
A local vigilante Ali Biu told Sahara Reporters that the attack took place on Thursday, December 10.
“We
received a report early this morning that they (Boko Haram) slaughtered
7 people including 2 women and 5 elderly men at around 10:30 pm last
night (Thursday),” he said.
Biu added that the terrorists burned Kamuya village to the ground and
abducted several civilians, including young girls and boys.
