Rousey Ronda Beaten Hands Down in the Second Round

Holm knocked out Rousey with a vicious punch during the second round in their highly anticipated fight, which was the MMA fighter's first loss. She was quickly brought to the hospital and since then

she remained overnight for observation and received stitches to her lip.

Although she is working on accepting her loss, we have also learned that she has had family by her side since the fight. Her sister and her sister's family were in Melbourne with her and were there to take her home since she was released Sunday. Currently, Rousey is on her way back to Los Angeles.

Late last night Rousey posted a message on Instagram, telling fans that she was going to take a little bit of time but would ultimately be back. Could that mean a rematch with Holm? With the way things are, it's too soon to say, but given the fighter's competitive nature it would make sense. Both Holm and UFC President Dana White have expressed that they would want it to happen, but it's entirely up to Rousey.
