Fabregas: I Could Have Joined Real Madrid Before Returning to Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Fabregas has revealed that he had contact with Real Madrid over a possible transfer before joining the Blues. He said, there were contacts over several years and with different presidents. An agreement was never concluded

Fabregas, according to Sky Sports, said that he held discussions with the La Liga giants over several years.

Fabregas was part of the Chelsea side that won the Premier League title in emphatic fashion last season, but the 28-year-old is one of several members of Jose Mourinho’s side who have struggled for form this season.
